Prior to the convening of a National Convention there shall be furnished to each Local Union and each other eligible subordinate body the official credentials for each delegate. Upon receipt of such credentials, the President of each Local Union (or other eligible subordinate body) shall sign the official credentials; a duplicate of each credentials shall be signed by the chair of the Credentials Committee and maintained by the Credentials Committee. The original credentials or other appropriate identification shall then be presented to the Credentials Committee by each delegate upon registration at the Convention. A delegate shall be required to register with the Credentials Committee in order to be duly accredited and seated at the National Convention.
