Section 3

This Union shall seek to achieve a safer and healthier work environment and better working conditions for postal employees. It will seek to educate its members and the general public in the history of the labor movement and the struggle for democratic unionism. This Union will engage in legislative and other efforts to obtain the enactment of laws to protect and enhance the welfare of workers, and to repeal laws which it believes are unjust to labor, including the pursuit of a union‐security arrangement to require nonmembers represented by the Union to pay their fair share of the costs of representation.
