The parties agree to continue with the testing of Modified Article 16. The purpose and format of Modified Article 16 shall remain the same as it was originally developed under the Task Force on Discipline, unless changed by the Task Force. Those sites which are currently involved in the testing of Modified Article 16 shall continue with the testing, unless the local parties notify the Task Force on Discipline to the contrary, in accordance with the stated guidelines as developed by the Task Force.</br>
The parties recognize the role of the Postal Inspection Service in the operation of the Postal Service and its responsibility to provide protection to our employees, security to the mail and service to our customers.</br>
