Section 12.7 Transfer Request

  1. Prior to hiring Mail Handlers, installation heads will consider re- quests for transfers submitted by Mail Handlers from other installations.
  2. Providing a written request for a voluntary transfer has been sub- mitted, a written acknowledgment shall be given in a timely manner.
  3. An employee whose transfer is approved will be allowed to use up to five (5) days of annual leave or five (5) days leave without pay for purpose of transferring.
